Ranger Embossing Powder in 0.60 oz - Pure White Finish Review

I ordered this brand because I had problems with another brand's white embossing powder on black paper. Same problem with Ranger. The image appears to be covered in Versamarck and embossing powder. Because I used the thermal tool, the image takes on texture and then quickly loses texture, leaving a mottled image at best and a flat, bright white image at worst. I repasted it with an ink pad so it's not like that and I'm using SU paper.

I've had trouble finding white HA embossing powder in stock. literally months. I decided to try the Ranger brand after reading some of the reviews here. While I can't compare it to HA, I CAN say that this super fine powder works great! There were no gaps in my paintings; gives a very light white matte finish; and it worked well with thinner fonts. I love Ranger embossing powder and needed white powder to complete the project. It arrived on time and the shipping box wasn't damaged but when I opened the box the embossing powder got on my hands and some on the floor. I looked closely and saw that there was some powder on the cellophane around the top of the container and it was slightly lifted from the container.
