Didn't work for me as my front fork thru axle is a custom length that falls between a 105 or 147 kit. Very sad because it looks like some pretty impressive engineering.

Excellent product, very easy to set up. Comes with detailed instructions. I've been using RapiLock thru axles on my gravel bike for about a year now and they work flawlessly. I love the retractable handle! Clean design and ease of use. Good product.

Bought as a replacement for the rear quick-release axle so that you can easily switch between the machine and the rear wheel. Definitely good for it, but my original thru-axle has no leverage and is significantly lighter than this. I chose convenience but just a few things to consider

I've bought these axles in the past and they came as a complete kit with multiple tips so they could be used on multiple bikes by swapping out the tips. The picture for this listing shows the complete set, but with your order you will receive an axle and ONE TIP! There is no benefit in buying this axle if you don't have the ability to use it on multiple bikes.

I used this thru axle to replace the axle on my Cannondale Synapse which only had a solid arm. The Rapilock has a smart lever that can be pulled out for installation and removal and pushed back into the axle, making it very "aerodynamic". This one weighed 10g less than the original, so that's a bonus too. The instructions are very simple and assembling your semi-custom axle is a breeze. Perfect fit, perfect set.
