Received the item on time and it seems decent, however it was missing brackets to prevent the legs from moving forwards or backwards. To render them essentially unusable I used a couple of zip ties to hold them in place but I'm not comfortable with my daughter riding a bike if the zip breaks she will fall a lot I'm afraid . Is there a chance that they will be sent?

I was hesitant to buy this bell after reading negative reviews about it not ringing but my daughter really liked the colors and the flower so I decided to try it. There is no "cheap" feeling. I installed it on her bike the day it arrived and quickly realized where the negative reviews were coming from. For some reason the bell doesn't ring if you overtighten the screw. Maybe too much tension? Just loosen it up a bit. That bell sounds great!

We bought this bell from Revain for our 9 year old daughter. The bell works great on her bike (a 20" Kent Lucky Star, also bought from Revain). There were no issues installing the bell on the bike and it remains reliable. Daughter is easy to ring. has developed a system when we're cycling so that if I'm going too fast and she can't keep up, she'll call once so I know I have to slow down a bit for her to catch up.
