Does the job but not worth it >$20

Sold as a case for the Pi 4 and official 7 inch touch display. Overall, the Pi and display fit well into the case. easy to fix. I'm confused about this item because it's just a cheap piece of plastic molded into the required shape. It should cost more than $10, but the fact that there isn't much competition in this space and most manufacturers end up making their own cases or 3D printing them allows the seller to get away with such an exorbitant price. Being a little more expensive but equipped

Durable and easy access to all ports

- I bought this thinking it would fit my Raspberry Pi 3 but it doesn't. The case is decent and helps keep the screen and Pi together in one sturdy body. This gives me a reason to buy a new Raspberry Pi 4. Pros - * Convenient housing * All ports are easily accessible. * Full rear access to Raspberry Pi. Cons - * Suitable for Raspberry Pi 4 only.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No power

No screen/false ads

I wish I could give zero stars. This item arrived today with a big disappointment as the LCD screen is not included. Be careful when ordering this item, the description is very inaccurate and does not say that the screen is sold separately. I'll return it as soon as possible!

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • I'm worried about this

Wall mount suitable for computers and accessories

I think it's a great case and I like using it. I ordered it to see if I could wall mount it because no one has commented on this although I thought I saw it as an unanswered question the other day but now I don't see that question anymore. Anyway I've drilled 1/4" holes in each corner where the circles are clearly marked for this and will be hanging it on a customer's wall shortly to test the look, feel and functionality, but i wanted to let everyone know if you would like to be able to easily…

Great case for my Pi and Pi4 official 7 " touchscreen

What don't I like? I have a Raspberry Pi 4 and I'm not sure yet if I'll be using it to run Octopi on one of my 3D printers, if I'll be running Octofarm so I can keep it on my desk to have a quick overview of everyone's status my 3D printer, or create a headunit add-on for my Kia Soul and install Openauto Pro on it. This is how I can have a car media player / add Android Auto to my car. Anyway what I like about this case is that it's durable/sturdy so I don't have to worry as much about bending…

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Like that

I bought this case to create a portable Pi tablet and it fits perfectly. I added a 3000mah lithium polymer battery, a charge/discharge circuit, some small speakers with a small amplifier circuit and an on/off switch. It may seem like there is no more room inside after the Pi4 is installed, but if you buy small components (mostly here on Revain and Aliexpress/ebay) you can find components that will fit in and get the job done. The components I've used, including the battery, don't block any of…

Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Good design, the application may not be suitable for everyone

Pros: Symmetrical cutouts act as "grip" areas when you want it to be a wearable carryable. Can stand alone with Pi/Display installed. Enough space to connect the display connectors. easy to remove but doesn't look like it will fall off by itself. If you remove the back cover, you will see two screw slots, which you can use to mount the device on the wall, etc. Good / bad, depending on the application: - SD card is not removable in the case. you like it or hate it. I understand that it would be…

Great case for my official Pi 7 " and Pi4 touchscreen

What's not to like? I have a Raspberry Pi 4 and I'm still on the Air, I'm going to use it to run Octopi on one of mine Run 3D printer Octofarm so I can keep it on my desk to quickly view the status of all my 3D printers, or create a head unit add-on for my Kia Soul and install Openauto Pro on it so I can have it add a car media player/android car in my car What I like about this case is that it's durable/sturdy so I don't have to worry so much about it bending which makes the screen better…

  • Not as good as it says

Ok but there are better cases for about the same price

I probably would have been "happy" with this case if I hadn't bought the SmartiPi case sooner. Happiness is perhaps too strong a word. I would probably see "okay with this case". Maybe I'm just spoiled after the other. This case seems thinner and cheaper. Besides, the camera mount is just a slot to install the camera board. The other has a place to mount it inside the case, as well as 3 different covers (2 for use with the camera and 1 without it). The angle to it is not adjustable. It's not…

Pros
  • Constant test results

  • Could have chosen a newer model

Good design, may not suit all uses

Good: - Symmetrical cutouts act as "grip" areas if you want it to be a portable object - Can stand alone with a Pi/ Display mounted - Yes, enough space to plug in display ports - The back panel is easy to remove, but it doesn't look like it's going to fall off on its own - When you remove the back cover, there are two screw slots that allow you to attach the device wall mount / etc. OK / Bad depending on the application: - The SD card is not removable with the case. you like it or hate it. It works. But it's poorly designed and very expensive

If you just want something to tidy up and protect the Pi 4/Pi "official screen" combination then do this. However, remember that you are buying nothing more than a piece of plastic and four screws. The design also makes it unsuitable as a base case. As others have pointed out, the holes in the case don't quite line up with the holes in the circuit board on the back of the screen. There are also no openings for USB-C and HDMI ports. The lower part of the body is slightly inclined. I believe that

Pros
  • Like everything before
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product
