Ratchet Shimano TZ500 Megaranger stars 14-34T - designed for 7-speed transmission mountain and road bikes of an amateur level. It mounts on any rear threaded bushing, is installed and removed with a special bicycle puller. It is a leader in the segment of budget ratchets, thanks to a long resource and high-quality switching. HG Technology (HYPERGLIDE): The technology has been designed for quick and precise shifting. The sprockets and chains have been computer designed, specially shaped and bevelled to improve the shifting process. As a result, it becomes more reliable, smooth and clear. The noise level is also reduced.

The best product, from those that I have viewed, I advise everyone!

Has some pros: Lasted 4 months in the snow at an average of 50 hours a week. You can continue to ride, but already the crocodiles are on the stars, but the mechanism holds without any complaints. Megarange did not try, the transfer did not allow Has cons: It is necessary to separately select a transfer for megarange

Best product I have ever reviewed, I recommend it to everyone!

Bought, installed, satisfied. The last one, which I bought at the bike market, took a year. Let's see what kind of plasticine this one is made of :) in the photo - the deceased and the new star. Guess which one is which :)

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

In principle, the old 6-speed ratchet suited me, its stars have the following set of teeth 14-16-18-21-24-28, but when I chose a new direction of skating, I realized that I needed a lower gear, I was looking for a 7-speed 14 -16-18-21-24-28-34, with the preservation of what was on the previous one, such exist, but are not on sale (everywhere they are over). This MF-TZ500 ratchet (14-16-18-20-22-24-34) has a big jump between first gear and second gear (34-24=10), but when I tried to ride the old

Pros
  • A ratchet in proper Shimano packaging that I will later use to store my old ratchet. I haven’t put it on the bike yet, but the quality looks excellent and the bearing is pretty well lubricated, this can be seen from the leaked lubricant and can be heard from the very muffled crackle of the ratchet crackers.
Cons
  • Leaked grease must be carefully removed with a napkin. PS: this is more of an advice than a drawback;
