I felt like a man using this

Just bought a pickup. So obviously the first thing I had to do was help someone move. It worked great! I've used ratchet zip ties in the past which were impractical. They are easy to put on and take off and hold up very well. I tied the bed, bed frame, headboard and large TV box in my truck. Just for fun and to annoy my girlfriend, I took the hard way home. Nothing has moved. 10/10 would buy again.

Love it! - Tarpaulin and tie downs

These tie down straps are amazing. I haven't had any problems with them. I am a woman and quite used to my husband doing everything for me but he is very busy and I had to make the 14 hour trip to visit relatives from Georgia to Texas on my own. I tied the bag to the roof and these little ones strapped everything down. My brother-in-law was supposed to give me a quick rundown of how to use the ratchet strap, but I only had to show it once. They were so easy and amazing quality. Will take a long

Rust and cracks in 3 days

It arrived last Thursday. On Saturday I tied kayaks and other things to the trailer in the photo and we drove 8 hours from Tennessee to North Carolina Beach. One day it rained on the way there. When we arrived the straps looked like this, two were beginning to fray or break and one was rusty. I still have a pair of ratchets from another company, I have to find out in 3 days which ones are 10 years old, but they aren't even like that. I return them to find something else. I have no idea why it…

Short-sighted design

Straps between hook and ratchet are too short. Они работают, если у вас есть что-то, за что можно зацепиться — например, болт с проушиной, уголок, край илт. д., но если вам нужно обернуть его вокруг чего-то, чтобы зацепить ремешок — забудьте about it. You are too short. I rented a cargo trailer this weekend that had few interior hooks but had 3" wood slats installed on the interior walls. I had to stop and drive into town to buy a set of longer straps. Good straps but their use is limited by…

Only 500lb capacity is not enough

I bought these because of the price and didn't pay close attention to the capacity. I was looking for a reasonably priced option that would allow me to safely transport equipment in the back of my truck and bought it ahead of time. However, if you're looking for an option that can be done right away, it's better to go ahead and invest in a sturdy ratchet strap. I was even more dissatisfied when I saw four packs of $21 heavy duty harnesses at Lowes the other day and bought a $10 Husky 3,000…

Worst belt ever! on tarpaulin and cable ties

Do not buy these straps. We were moving and wanted extra ratchet straps so contrary to my husband's opinion we bought the Revain straps and the worst possible solution. Before using these straps we used some from our local hardware store to transport our 800 four wheeler with no problems and decided to use these straps to tie some lawn chairs together. We tied them tightly and set off, and even 5 minutes into our journey we heard a strong bang and saw that one of the straps snapped. Part of the

Slight defect on the ratchet

They are strong and can withstand a lot of pressure, but I found a defect that depends on what you are transporting. I need them to tie my kayaks to my trailer. For the ratchet to work properly, they must be fully tightened. This means a click or two more than it seems like a stretch. This is fine for most loads, but it will damage the kayaks. As a result, the cargo can move an inch or two unless they are crushingly tight. This isn't enough to cause damage, but enough to dislodge the hooks and…

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Transparent

I've been using them outdoors all the time to keep a tree (actually quite a large tree for this job, about 8 inches in diameter) upright after a crazy hurricane, which blew about 10 degrees. They're just showing signs of corrosion, the mechanisms still work, and they're still stuck. I've only used 2 of these for this purpose and the other 2 for general use and can't find almost anything bad to say about them. My only complaint I've found recently is that the end of the strap that comes with…
