I bought two of these for my team. One for each type of test, left and right. They fit well, they stay in place and I imagine they protect you really well, luckily I didn't get hit in the head by the ball. I bought both helmets used and they were in excellent condition, like new.

My son has been using this heavy duty batting helmet with extension for the last 4 months of the 2019 baseball season and it was worth every penny of protection! My son got at least 3 fast balls on his head and this helmet offered maximum protection. Priceless protection for our children! Well done and done!

This was a birthday present for my son. The first year of the playground game since COVID canceled baseball last year. He didn't want a full face mask because he said he couldn't see as well without it, but I still wanted him to feel like his face was protected from any possible wild tar. He says he loves it and it's very comfortable and he just feels "cool" in it.

My son (high school player) wanted a helmet with an 'extension flap' after he was hit in the face on the field last season (broken nose, lots of) blood etc .), so we ordered him this one. This is a quality helmet from a reputable company and although it is a little more expensive than other helmets it is nothing compared to the cost of a visit to the emergency room after being hit in the face by a step.

Very nice. Well done. My kid loves it. All the kids on his team think it's cool. My son is 7 years old and fits perfectly. He is tall 7 years old. Only two sizes are available. I'm not sure if we were just lucky. The foam inside the helmet is durable. The cheap helmet we had before had foam in its hair. That seems to have been done much better. If there are no updates, everything is as good as it seems.

My 14 year old has outgrown his youth size and although he has space I think this is the best option. By the end of the season he would have outgrown the biggest youth size and that would be more than ideal. He loves this new helmet, it's very comfortable and stable. It's hard to compete against a name that has been a leader in the industry for decades. I had to buy my son a new helmet as the helmet he was using started falling apart after 3 years of use (not Rawlings). Although the helmet he had was a great helmet I have a personal bias as it is the brand I used as a kid. Bought for my 10 year old baseball player. I bought the older size because my baby has a decent canopy and I didn't want it to be too small. I think we tried Dick's, but they didn't have an outlet. So it's a bit too big for him. Once when he was playing tag, the visor of his helmet moved onto his nose and he didn't like it.
