Poor quality control but suitable for children's practice

One of the balls was not a t-ball. It was an R8U ball (essentially a real baseball). Also, the dye used to sew the thread absorbs fairly poorly into the "skin" of a single ball of yarn. Poor QC but that's not such a big deal as they get beaten in the dirt anyway.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Love them for backyard batting practice for 5th and 6th graders!

Soft kick soccer balls that we use to tee off and practice with my two aspiring ball players! Although the balls may not stand up to more advanced players, I prefer softer balls for student training earlier in the year.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Miscellaneous Miscellaneous

Decent durability but warps easily

It sucks because they warp very easily. So when you use a feed machine, the machine becomes very unstable. It's OK for ball training and batting. I've used them all season and the leather still looks new with no fading so at least this part is good.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Not trendy

Nice thin spongy outer layer. Even with the grid we lost 2 of them. take ten

Just what my son needed for catch and throw training at age 4. It has a hard core with a thin spongy outer layer. If you hit him from a target, he doesn't have that satisfying PING! Sound. But it's nice to know that he doesn't get so upset when he misses the ball and the ball hits him.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Can't remember

Great balls - don't fall apart and are soft

They're worth a small fork. We tried the cheaper Tebery 12 kit and it fell apart! They are a bit more expensive but definitely worth it! They are strong and have stood the test of time. Boys don't feel hurt when they get hit. Great appetizers for T-Ball! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Pros
  • Build Confidence
Cons
  • Lots

I use these with my kids and neighborhood kids for practice because they still miss balls and get hit a lot. They are suitable for this purpose, but not very durable. That being said, I'm not sure if durable tee balls exist. Making a strong and inexpensive durable ball is probably not too feasible.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Protection

My favorite t-ball and coach pitch.

I'm just finishing my first coaching season with the rookie team. We used up pretty quickly all the balls the league gave us, so I bought them too. I find when I reach into the bucket of mixed balls to choose a ball, those are the ones I like the most. They are soft which is a plus if you are dropping a 5 year old. I try to throw a little harder than other coaches to keep the ball flat to keep the ball soft. It's especially nice when the bigger kids are yelling at you and you're only 12 feet…

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
