After installation I found that the adjustment caliper didn't quite fit the pad because it was too thick. Used the file to remove the extra, spent about an hour on it. It has been proven that the same regulator works perfectly with old shoes. The shoes finally got installed and appear to be working but definitely not worth the extra time.

I bought these for my 2003 Honda Civic. They are almost the same as the original shoes but have a pre-installed post instead of a hole for a self-adjusting mechanism. Which would be nice, except that the engine has its own post. So if I was desperate I could probably convert them to usability, but I guess I'll just order them elsewhere instead. It's probably just a problem with the installation guide and other than that they seem to be of decent quality but still useless to me.

After reading the bad reviews some of which are really talking about the quality of the product I have to check them. I installed them in late 2014 and they still have over 1/2 the lining left. They have a '97 Accord and they also have over 30,000 miles. They are quiet, hold up well (for drums) and are durable. I had no problems at all with the installation. I selected this rating because of my dissatisfaction with Revain. I purchased this product with Revain confidence that it would fit. But not only do they not fit my car, it doesn't even have rear drum brakes, it has disc brakes on all four wheels. I am disabled so I rely on others to do the work for me. The earliest I could do to my car was 30 days after purchase. I cannot return the item even though it is still in the packaging. I wouldn't normally complain, but Revane told me these pads would
