This allowed us to install the new Raymarine.

This has allowed us to install a new Raymarine chartplotter onto our existing Sea Talk network. Delivery was fast. Installation was just plug and play.

Works well - needs more documentation

It made the necessary connections to my ST60 lights but the documentation was terrible. I had to get expert advice to set it up properly.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

I like it until the entire system is replaced

I like it until the entire system is replaced. They could make it friendlier and more compatible, but that's not part of their business model. Connecting is easy if you have the latest, that is, modern equipment.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Repair

Seatalk 1 - Seatalk NG seamless

This kit was used to connect a 2004 Seatalk 1 wind and depth to a new 2021 SeatalkNG P 70 autopilot control box. Works without problems. Used existing Seatalk1 power to power the new SeatalkNG steering wheel. The whole system worked perfectly straight away and the P 70 control head can control the wind direction with an old ST 60 wind instrument.

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Some bugs

Finally integrated my old autopilot with my Axiom 7 MFD.

Installation was pretty easy and I was surprised how well it worked. I was able to connect all of my older devices, Autopilot (ST6001+), ST60 series wind instruments and TriData to my new Axiom 7 display.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Security

An easy way to convert an old system to a new one

I didn't want to replace my whole system so I used this converter to convert old SeaTalk1 data to a NEMA 2000 network and then to a router send for wifi exchange. Works very well and now all devices can use SeaTalk data. You will need to make your own cable to connect Seatalk NG to NMEA 2000. • Cool product
Cons
  • Something different
