I'm glad I got the best results on ice skates, skateboards and scooters.

I have this one because I didn't have to do the wiring myself. I'm glad I did. It would be a nightmare. It's very good that there's only one way to put it together. It was a well thought out design plan. The scooter works like new, the children are happy.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • I don't remember

Works Great: Sports

These Razor Rollers are incredibly simple in design and very easy to maintain. The only electronics in the entire scooter are in this small control box. Sometimes they fail, but fortunately these replacement parts are available and fairly easy to install.

Pros
  • Durable Finish
Cons
  • Some Complications

Razor accurate replacement part

My child's scooter stopped working so I took it apart to fix the problem. There are two relays in the controller from the factory, one of which is dead, so due to lack of time I ordered the entire assembly rather than just a relay replacement. Nothing to say (and that's a good thing!) about the new part: I simply pulled out the old part and replaced it. There are multiple connectors here, but don't worry: you can only connect the right cable from the scooter body. I gave it three stars for the…

Roller working again

After I changed the batteries and the e125 still didn't work I went to YouTube and found some great videos diagnosing what else might be wrong. I checked the throttle signal with a multimeter and it worked fine, so all that was left was the control box. It didn't click when I twisted the throttle as described in the troubleshooting videos. After I installed it, the clicking was obvious. I was then able to start the scooter and twist the throttle and it worked like a charm. FYI, I initially…

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Loose

The brake cable on this module DOES NOT FIT "POWER CORE" E- 100 (the one with the motor built into the back of the steering wheel). Still, I'm giving 5 stars because it was my own fault for not noticing that only the old E-100 model was included and not the Power Core model. And I was able to cut the connector off my old control module and solder it to the new one, still works fine. Just had to check which wire makes the brake work before soldering. Let's see how long this control module works…

Direct replacement, works great just make sure it's your controller

Bringing back to life a Razor E175 scooter I bought from Goodwill for my son. These speed controllers are fairly simple devices, but many other devices must function properly for the controller to power the motor. This means that the device only supplies battery voltage to the motor if the following conditions are met: The battery voltage must be greater than 20.5 VDC. spin (on) and the engine should already be spinning (i.e. kick start or kick start). If any of these conditions are not met…
