I love the idea of these socks and these socks were adorable but even when measured and sized correctly they land on my dog's paws and let him slip more . as previously. I was very upset that they didn't help our old man on the hard wooden floors.

My Dalmatian didn't like it! She is 13 years old and has arthritis. We bought these to help her move across our hardwood floors without slipping. Instead, she just raised her paws, afraid to continue with that. She didn't sit still to let me try all four. So we didn't even use them.

We have an aging Doxy who has a terrible hip problem that is beyond surgery. We have parquet floors, so it can't stand easily. I ordered these adorable socks thinking they would solve the problem. But they just don't stay. It's a great concept, but it didn't work for him. I went and bought baby socks (have to remember to buy two sets) and bought velcro which comes in a roll and is glued to the other end. It worked better.

Although I liked their design and thought they would help my dog stop biting, they didn't. They fit perfectly (I have a large pug with bigger paws than the average pug) and they stay in place for about five steps and then come loose again. I thought it was a good idea, but it's a failure. I wish someone would design matching dog socks that stayed, but these don't, and sadly they're making a comeback.

I'm not the type of person to write reviews, but I tell everyone I know with older dogs about Pawks. My 14.5 year old Wheaten Terrier had trouble with his hind legs slipping underneath him on the hardwood floors in my apartment, but with Pawks he can walk on wood just as well as carpet. I was ready to go and buy some rubber floor mats but Paux saved the day! I would highly recommend them to any dog with slipping problems. We bought these socks for our German Shepherd who has hind leg mobility issues. We hoped to protect his paws from scratches and wet patches and reduce slippage when walking. Sewn-in pirate dog design means there are plenty of lace loops hanging in the sock guaranteed to catch your toenails, making this product even worse for silly design . The elastic at the top is flimsy and they aren't as long as they should be so there's just nothing to hold these things in place and I had to pick up one every 10 minutes.
