I had all sorts of fears but my rescued Chihuahua would never go out in the rain. He once waited 20 hours. It's comfortable for him; he doesn't shake it off and doesn't mind wearing it. And it keeps him dry. We are all happy here now. To attempt; You will be pleasantly surprised.

Great buy! We tried on several raincoats for our girl in the store and none fit, not to mention they are very expensive. This coat was lightweight and true to size! We bought the XL and it fits our 60# Pit/mastiff like it was made for her! Con: I went a little lower with the hood to hold it better, but it only really falls off when tilting its head back! For the price unbeatable!

For the price this raincoat is great. It stays in place and the fit is adjustable. I got the XL for my 55lb boxer mix and it fit great. The harness is really adjustable with a wide Velcro strap, so you need to buy it according to your dog's body length, so you can protect him from the rain. love the duck pattern! The only thing I'm worried about is washing. It's really thin plastic so I'm not sure if it will hold up in the washing machine. You will most likely need to hand wash and dry.

I was in a motorhome up in the mountains the other day and it was pouring rain. My dog and I were on a two mile hike so I had an opportunity to use this product in extreme conditions. He performed like a champion. The rain cover stayed in place and kept my dog's body dry. The hood didn't stay in place, but I think that was because he stopped about every 10 minutes and shook water off his nose and tail. I bought this item (size XL) for a 90lb Bullmastiff/Pitbull mix. It protects well from rain and does not hinder you when going to the toilet. The only issue I had is the velcro that runs down my dog's belly and barely touches it and I can tell it's snug on her. So if you have a powerful dog, this may not work for you. Also, the hood almost never seems to stay on, so my dog's head is always wet when we get in. For the most part though, it keeps her dry and I think she loves it. I would recommend

Although it was made a bit cheaply, I found it good value for money. I ordered XL for my rescue retriever who doesn't like going outside in the rain - he's 22 inches at the shoulders and 24 inches from collar to tail. He looks weird in the pictures because we shaved him for the summer and his hair never grew back.
