The answering machine was terrible. I set it up to only work on line 1. Sometimes it missed calls. Sometimes he recorded a message from another answering machine on line 2. I bought this system to replace our 10 year old Panasonic 2 Line 2 Rail answering machine. The Panasonic system was user friendly.
