No Chin Guard

Very good quality headgear at an affordable price, ideal for mixed martial arts/boxing. The only thing stopping this from 5 stars is the lack of any kind of chin guard (just put your hands up and it shouldn't be a problem). Overall, money well spent and I'm keeping up with my hour-long Muay Thai sparring sessions.

Beware of sizing, best in other sports

Ordered xL based on some reviews but it turned out to be too bulky for me - I do box and spar (176lbs, 5ft 10in ). I wanted something with a nose guard. My other helmet has an open nose but I broke recently so I wanted to give my nose enough time to heal. However, the XL size is too bulky and heavy for me...not sure I will use it.

Great for the price

Great for the price, seems a little bulky but be aware that compared to other faceplate headgear you pay the price, the hard part of comfort moves a little on your head when you get hit, but it's basically a different headdress. the padding is good, the barley does not feel any blows. Only negative is just bulky, I prefer less volume than a pad but that's just me

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Unusable features

High quality and very durable

I had this hat a while ago and it's definitely worth it. The stitching is still intact and there are no tears at all. I bought a nose guard to prevent stains on my face because I can't go to work with bruises and it definitely does the job. There's no topcut protection, but that's what good protection is for. I highly recommend it.

  • GOLS certified

Nice helmet, too tight, great shaft, but you can't see the ground

The helmet is a bit tight. I wouldn't buy it if I tried it in a store. However, I stretched it, bent the stem a bit, loosened the strings A LOT and it works for me. Face shield is great. I'm tired of breaking my nose and that's a big help. I've had three nose jobs. The only catch is I can't see underneath it, so this helmet isn't particularly useful for kickboxing.

  • Absolute legend
