I recently ordered a DVR with a rear view camera. The cable from the rear camera to the dash cam was less than 5 feet. This 10 foot cable worked great. The rear camera works as it should.

After doing the initial wiring for the rear camera I found I was 1 foot short. So I drove with the cable hanging from the windshield for two days. When I found this extension it worked great. The seller was great. And they even sent LED lighting as a gift, which was cool.

Bought this unit to permanently install a rear view camera for my newly installed dashcam. This cable was perfect for my needs. All you need to know is whether your camera is a 4-wire or 5-wire configuration.

The cable should be 10 feet long. The packaging says 10 feet but when I measured it the cord was 6 feet long. Enough to finish my project but I was expecting a 10ft cable. The seller should double check their inventory to ensure they are labeling the packaging correctly. I give 3 stars because the size didn't fit.

Cable could not be used as it was only 6ft long and too short for my application but was packaged (and advertised here) as a 10ft cable! Unfortunately I was in a serious car accident on the day of delivery and left the hospital a month later and the return window closed before I could even realize the discrepancy.

I used this extension to attach my cargo trailer when hauling it across the country. It worked very well. I believe the recommendation said you can only use 1 extension cable in addition to the camera cable that came with it. There will be around 12 originals and 10 expansions. Actually I need a few more meters so I tried the second extension and it worked great. This made the 3 US trips more relaxing as I could see directly behind me and not just in the mirrors. I recommend this extension.
