excellent welder; heats metal strongly

This thing gets very hot. I'm new and used to a 120v welder. I hooked this thing up and immediately started blowing through the flimsy test metal I had. It takes some practice but this thing is awesome.

I was happy with it until it broke

I didn't even work 5 hours before it broke. I was getting ready for my job the welder was on and ready to go then I heard a loud bang and it turned off the Check Mt switch and that was good now the welder doesn't work at all. I hope the company will come back to me.

Excellent customer service.

Update 2: They quickly got me the missing parts and everything works great! I liked the welder in terms of value for money. We'll be buying him a TIG torch soon! Update: They contacted me immediately and are currently working with me to fix everything! Bought it for a weekend project. The ad says it comes with a grounding clamp, torch, wire etc but when it arrived there was nothing in the box except for the welder itself.

Cons
  • So far so good

Customer service was great

I am an amateur just learning to weld. The device is compact and lightweight for the performance. Dinse 10-25 standard plugs provide many options for earth wire and electrode replacement. Haven't tried Lift TiG so can't comment on that and my MMA/stick experience suggests it needs plenty of practice. Most of what I've done with this unit over the past 6 months has been with the flux cored MiG. With thick metal this is as easy as using a hot glue gun. The flimsy metal you need to get the speed…
