(Anyone with a link in the title, my book is fine! Lol) Bought this for my husband for Christmas and I'm reaping the rewards! He makes cocktails every night! Rschunimagu. Was my first cosmopolitan to use this product - YUM!

If you are looking for a plastic cocktail shaker, this is a good choice. There is a silicone ring cap on the top for you to hold on to. The top half is rolled up to secure. So far there have been no shaking leaks and pouring leaks.

I was looking for a shaker to replace my metal shaker. I didn't want the lid to get stuck and freeze my hands. The shaker is easy to clean, doesn't get cold hands and has had great recipes in the past. Also, MUCH cheaper than the fancy double wall metal shaker I was considering.

Lid cannot be closed. The first time I shook my cocktail, it spread. I thought operator error. Made my second batch. He snapped the lid open very carefully and held it tight. In my kitchen there is not vodka everywhere. I literally had to mop up part of the floor as almost the entire shaker ended up on the floor.

When you're stuck at home and need a drink, you need a friend to help you prepare the drink. This little blender is handy because it doesn't freeze my hands, it has some quick recipes on the sides, it's dishwasher safe and it's made of plastic so I'm less likely to break it if I fall. I've made hundreds of drinks with this shaker and highly recommend it.

Excellent glass. It even survives my cult! I like and dislike the jigger on the lid. I like to have it on hand and it's very useful. The downside is that you need the jigger to shake the glass, so you need to wash and dry the jigger immediately after measuring and before shaking the drink. Other than that, it's great. I really like it and I'm glad I have it.

100% agree with TeddyPop. Simply excellent design, zero streaks, streaks. I even like the aesthetics of this instrument. Kudos to the designer and production team! Update 12/22/20: Well it finally broke after two years of fairly stable use, but guess what: I just bought 2 more of these. One small design detail to note is that the tabs on the lid screw COUNTER-CLOCKWISE into the rim of the shaker.

Clear plastic jar with graduations and recipes on the side. OK. The black plastic lid has a built in strainer, but the problem is that the top is held in place with small protrusions in the slots in the jar. I'll have to take a closer look to get it in place. There is a jigger (0.75 oz) that forms a plug in the filter opening. The cork must be securely fastened or it will leak. It's all just not as good as the simplicity of a Boston shaker.

This shaker makes a wonderful gift. I will probably have to give away more often ;-) The shaker is clearly marked, all parts are in very good condition and work well. For $15 - there's no arguing! This is a gift for my friend's father who loves making and mixing cocktails. They have a metal shaker but it can be a bit noisy at times. I have been looking for the perfect cocktail shaker for many years. Finally I think I've found it. My requirements were pretty low. It just needs to NOT LEAK when shaken and OPEN LIGHTLY when shaken. This thing does both like no other shaker I've ever used. That's enough for 5 stars. But note that this shaker also: - pours well (not dripping or clogged with ice or whatever) - doesn't break because it's plastic (my last decent shaker was glass and shattered) - has ounce markings and milliliters.
