Great price. This repaired an old 40cc Eton quad. I'm about to start Eton and they don't fit. I looked up the VIN and found it to be an odd low production quad.

This starter fits the application very well, in fact I have ordered a few extras should I ever need them. This was used on a 49cc petrol scooter. Looks great and was easy to install, it even comes with a new starter paw for inside.

Manual starter replaced with GB-Moto 50cc as the original starter rope was frayed and eventually snapped. This new cable bolted on immediately and fitted perfectly. Should serve as an effective replacement for many 50cc pit bikes made in China.

In less than 2 weeks this handle has already come off the rope. I RARELY use a hand starter because my scooter has electric start. It is very fragile and of low quality. I decided to take it apart and figure out how to rewind and rebuild the string and make it stronger than the factory. However, you must have mechanical knowledge to fix this.

Based on other reviews I did not use any metal part. I'm very careful with plastic. I try to pull gently. There is no all-metal case option for this type of motor. The plastic seems pretty strong. You're stuck with that if you have this motor. Be sure to mix 2-stroke engine oil with gasoline, otherwise the engine will become sticky when you boost start.

It works and hasn't broken yet like the one that came on my 49cc kick scooter. This Revain order started maybe a few weeks ago. The one on my scooter broke on the 2nd day, the screw hole was broken. I had to tie the puck to the rope to keep the rope from slipping through the handle. There is some kind of reverse spring for softer tension. Because this jerk is now very jerky when I start my scooter and is no longer a nice smooth light jerk.

I bought four of these the first broke within a week the second held up about the same but this is not material of the product this is just a manufacturer fault comes with a pawl Supplied so that it grabs the tensioners unevenly, pulls the strings, putting uneven pressure on the body and breaking it after a while. Adding another one on the other side can't cost too much and makes it a good product. I took out the dogs from two broken ones. Added pooches of theirs to two I just bought, both work
