This is a beautiful rug in rich colors and very well made. Although there are cheaper rugs out there, this rug is a great value for the quality and complements my home decor. I bought two to place in the bathroom in front of each vanity. Ideal!

Love love love this rug. I was concerned about the cost of the fireplace rug but it is beautiful and looks great in my office. It is soft so it is very comfortable for the buttocks and lower back to stand or kneel on while adding wood.

This was a good purchase for my propane fireplace. Excellent quality and attractiveness. Fits perfectly in the corner. It's not soft at all, and it really shouldn't be (one of the features to rate, so while I'm giving it a low rating, it's downright tough). It picks up dog hair but I use a rubber brush to clean it.

Originally received the wrong rug. I have contacted Plow and Hearth support. They were very helpful and sent the right rug within a week. As you can see, my dog really liked this rug. Now he spends more time by the fire than in his bed. I would highly recommend this company and this beautiful rug.

Love the pattern and color. This is a very heavy rug and as I bought it as a fireplace rug it fits as it is heavy enough not to catch fire if an ember is thrown onto the rug. I give 4 stars because I would have liked it to be a little longer. Of course I knew the dimensions before I bought it but I still wish I had the choice of a longer length of rug to cover the larger area I am trying to protect in front of the fireplace.

This is about a year later. I love love love this rug. I found it expensive but I spend a lot of time in front of my rocket stove feeding it wood. I have a 2400 square foot house that needs heating! This carpet is soft, thick, and even a year later, from sparks falling on it and larger burning firewood, I don't see any burns. It is quite flame retardant and also has an all stain cover design. I realized it was worth the money I paid for it.
