Cuts it's Own Threads into Concrete. Anchor Bodies are Made of Hardened Carbon Steel and Zinc Plated, Grade 5. Finished Hex Washer Head, with Anti-Rotation Serrations. Anchor is Stamped with a Length Identification Code. Use Standard Drill Bits.

Disappointing Tapcon; Low-Quality

After trying this product, I was thoroughly disappointed with its low quality. The Tapcon could not even hold up basic fixtures and needed constant readjustments. The one positive was the easy-to-use installation process. Overall, I would not recommend this Tapcon for any heavy-duty projects.

Wrong size?

The 3/8" screws were too small for the 3/8" hole I drilled. When I bought other 3/8" screws, they fit perfectly. Even though the packaging says 3/8", I'm wondering if they were the wrong size in the packaging?

Easy installation and durability.

Really good product. The assembly in the poles for the pavilion worked great. So quick installation and strong holding power. If you need to anchor something to concrete and need extreme holding power, this is a great one-piece option.
