Red Heart Baby Hugs Medium: Orangie - The Perfect Yarn for the Little Ones Review

I love this yarn! It's beautiful, soft and easy to work with. I use it for all baby items I knit and crochet.

Such a soft yarn and a chic black colour. It's a little hard to see the individual stitches due to the darkness, but the result is great!

Have used a different color of this yarn before. Love the softness and ease of crocheting. I like to crochet stuffed animals and Amirguri dolls.

Great Color. Excellent price. Fits well (baby blanket). I bought 4 skeins and they are all the same color. Will definitely try other colors for future projects.

I am crocheting a small plaid with this yarn and mahogany yarn for Virginia Tech color combination. This orange looks more like VT or Auburn than TN. This yarn is easy to work with and so soft!

I give this yarn five stars because it is incredibly soft for acrylic and the amount of yarn you get at this price is quite high. I was able to knit two pumpkin hats from one ball and there are still a few left. Not a bad deal for the price and quantity, but not the highest quality yarn either. However, the yarn was easy to process. Works great on a 7 or 8 needle size. Finally, this yarn is really very orange. If you want a more muted shade of orange, this yarn is not the best choice.

I ordered this with the understanding that it was a softer yarn for children as described. However, it is hard and prickly. In my personal opinion, this is comparable to super saving. It was bought to make children's stuff for charity and is too hard for babies' delicate heads. I will use it for other projects but it's sad the ads are far away. In addition, each strand was individually wrapped in a plastic bag. I really want Red Heart to stop this. I make reusable items to help the environment…
