I love knitting very much, so I gladly responded to my son’s request to knit him a snood scarf and bought several skeins of Gray RED HEART Detroit acrylic yarn and set to work. This apple green color was hard to find but is stunningly beautiful in a knit afghan circle. Shades are gradual and beautiful.

This was the worst strand I have ever had, it kept getting tangled and I had to cut it all the time which took way too long.

I love the color change Red Heart Ombre. I hope they come out with new colors. The price is good but I know I'm paying a little more for the convenience of shopping here.

I ordered two skeins of this yarn. The first was beautiful and well knitted, but the diameter and softness of the second scarf varied greatly from foot to foot, so the scarf I knitted was not the same thickness and softness at all. It looks and feels terrible and is unusable. A real disappointment of course. Do not buy this product online as you cannot verify these inconsistencies.

One of my favorite lines of Red Heart yarn. Beautiful ombre colors, great price and durability. I want to try every color palette and hope they come out with more shades in the future. It's not the softest yarn at the time of manufacture, but it will soften with washing and with the use of fabric softener. I wish there was more footage in each skein as it is part of the Super Savings series. You get fewer yards for more money than other colors. Hope they keep it forever.

Pros: It arrived very punctually and on a Sunday so I could get to work straight away.
