Review on 🍏 Vibrant Green Apple Shade: Red Heart Ombre Yarn - Perfect for Knitting and Crochet Projects! by Kristen Reid

A disastrous pile of knots and inaccuracies

Pros: It arrived very punctually and on a Sunday so I could get to work straight away. Problem: The first piece I started working with turned out to be a very short piece connected to the rest in a massive knot. I had to start my project all over again, but never got very far. (see next point) * The yarn could not be separated from the skein without much effort to undo the knots that tied it. To the point where I had to stop and untie the massive knot that tied it and try to untie it and wrap it into a ball. I lost half my skein because of that knot fight. * The ombre color effect doesn't change fast enough to be effective on a small project I'm working on. The only way I got a different color was that I only finished the first three rows of what I was working on before the knot struggle ate the strand and I had to unravel the whole piece and start again from the center pieces, which happened . be a lighter shade of ombre. If you're working on a large project, you can achieve the effect you want, and if so, I bet it'll look good. * It was NOT cheap to buy a skein of yarn ($12). Most of them got tied up and they are really hard to work with. I do NOT recommend this.

Pros
  • Make a gorgeous scarf in just 10 oz. Ball or keep moving and make a spectacular throw with 4 balls!
Cons
  • old

This was very pretty. I used a forest green with it.
