Warm up your Knitting Projects

As an avid knitter, I'm always on the lookout for new and innovative yarns to work with. The Red Heart Heat Wave Radio yarn definitely exceeded my expectations! Based on our own experience, this yarn provides a cozy and comfortable warmth perfect for winter projects. Its unique heating technology makes it a perfect fit for those chilly mornings and evenings. One of the cons would be its limited color range; more color options would make it a perfect choice for Arts and Crafts enthusiasts. All…

Pros
  • Keeps you warm on cold days
Cons
  • Uses battery quickly

Delicious yarn

I really liked this yarn. I ordered several colors and received a different texture in each one. The colored "trunk" was smeared with something that had to be washed and soaked to remove. It was soft and really comfortable to work with.

Pros
  • Super for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Good yarn but doesn't really reflect heat to keep you warmer

I like working with this yarn because it's soft and a bit thicker when the thread is yarn but not bulky. I've knitted mittens for a family member with circulatory problems and then helped a few, but they don't really reflect heat. I think it's more of a situation where the fabric has fewer holes and the yarn holds heat a little better than acrylic. Wool is probably still a warmer yarn, but the good thing is that it's easy to wash. The colors are very beautiful and do not fade.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • Something different
