Red Heart Super Saver Amethyst Review

Not sure if it's the dye or something but it's a lot harder than other colors I've used from this brand. It works well afghan style, but I'm concerned it will be too stiff when finished. I think it will soften after a few washes.

This is a decent brand of yarn for those learning to knit or crochet. It doesn't scratch or anything and the colors are vibrant and wash well. Once you figure it out, you'll probably want to switch to a specialty yarn, but this is a good place to start. I recommend using it until you prefer weight and acrylic over natural materials.

I am a crochet fan. I love Red Heart yarn, one of the best brands. take a lot of yarn. Super Saver Jumbo balls often have leftovers. So when I have a few smaller batches done, I find a project that includes all the colors.

Comfortable and easy to use. Can be pulled directly from the center with no problems. I knitted a scarf with a satin stitch from stormy water, it turned out very beautiful. Did you see a few places where the yarn was tied like it had snapped? Found two of these close together but found them halfway to the strand. Consistency was good for most of them. Overall I am satisfied and will buy again. I used Amethyst M:8603E302C.
