This "thread " consists of 4 strands, similar to embroidery threads.

This is a good quality product but it is not really a yarn. You can't take anything to test. Like embroidery thread, this "thread” consists of 4 threads, except that the threads are not interwoven. Color combination and you can't tell! So, while my niece loved her scarf (yes!), it took me three times longer to crochet it than her sister (boo!).

HARD WORK, NOT A GOOD PURCHASE!

THIS IS DEFINITELY NOT A BEGINNER YARN! Advanced knitters will find it difficult. It is basically four strands of crochet that are not twisted together. You have to be very careful to get all four strands into each stitch. I am working on a shawl that I have knitted several times and have never been disappointed with the yarn. It's me this time. I have already torn the cloth three times because of the loose threads. Yes I am an experienced knitter but I will never order this yarn again! UPDATE:

FRUSTRATION Best Yarn

Oh Honestly! Working with this "yarn" is not for the faint of heart. This is terribly frustrating! Basically it's a thread. I saw a pattern I wanted to try and despite reading the reviews I bought it anyway. I tried to keep the threads taut, but it wasn't easy. I've done this many times, and when I finally got to the last color, gray, I noticed that down in the 4th-5th The "threads" were torn in places in the first row. Very noticeable. I would have to start all over again to fix the loose…

Try threading it through a bead before work

In fact, this yarn consists of 4 threads that are slightly intertwined. It works like a 3-4 gauge but requires extra attention as you work to look out for tangles and make sure you're grabbing all four strands. I threaded mine through the bead before starting work and it keeps the strands aligned and under control. There were several times where one strand was much longer than the others, so I trimmed off the excess and re-knotted it. Because it's a single thread, the knots are incredibly tiny…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • No work

I love the end product I get with this yarn (to the point I've taken more than one color of this yarn, some local, some from Revain ), BUT be careful (and maybe afraid) that ALL color changes are done with a knot! Not easy to crochet/work over the knot. The straps at the knot are not long enough to be woven afterwards. The yarn consists of four threads running side by side, each of which changes color. That means you can cut the knot, weave the ends together and I assume you still have decent…
