Vibrant Red Heart Super Saver Primary Stripes: Add Striking Color and Creativity to Your Projects! Review

I needed yarn to knit a scarf for my 3 year old grandson. Light base colors on a black background were ideal. I should have enough left over for the cap, although I'll have to add some black to finish it off. I'm just starting to knit again after decades, so I wanted an easy little project to get me started again. This yarn is ideal for such purposes.

I crochet a lot and need a yarn that I can easily pull together without worrying about tearing the layer. and I need yarn that is not so thick. I love the red heart so much and sometimes the caron too. and i crochet nieces for my grand nieces and they have very different tastes so the basic stripe and black was just right for my 8 year old niece who loves peace, emojis and animals. The yarn tends to break when you crochet with a death grip like me but the colors are amazing and you will never get bored because before that happens the next color appears. I haven't figured out the color pooling or what it's called, where you manage to make the color change right at the end of the row, but I don't care because it's so damn pretty!
