Red Hound Auto 12 Ball Stud Mounting - Struggles with Longevity

Based on our own experience the Red Hound Auto 12 Ball Stud Mounting in the Struts & Suspension category proved disappointing. ALTHOUGH the installation was fairly straightforward, the longevity of this product left much to be desired. One positive aspect was its initial functionality, but it quickly deteriorated, leaving us to question its overall durability and effectiveness. Despite its affordable price, we would not recommend this product due to its lack of reliability..

Pros
  • Easy and secure installation with the 12 ball stud mounting system
Cons
  • Compatibility limited to 10 mm M8-1 connections

Fits perfectly on my 2007 Odyssey tailgate

Good quality part, wish it was a little cheaper but it was just what I needed to repair the tailgate on my 2007 Honda Odyssey. The factory bolt was plastic and had broken, and the tailgate jamb was bent to later close the door. Each bolt comes with a nut, which was unnecessary for my application, but it was exactly the part I needed. I was able to easily remove the old bolt and fit this part and the replacement tailgate snapped into place perfectly.

Pros
  • Lifting legs
Cons
  • Small parts
