Installed on F150 2013 I would recommend that you clean the area well to improve adhesion. I used a rag to remove wax and grease. Just peel off the backing and place it on the threshold. When applying, make sure that no air pockets form. The pieces are well carved and look great when installed. They are quite thick and have a leafy texture, I am very happy with them.

This is a fantastic product. Start with the backdoors first, take care of them and move on to the important ones. I recommend removing the backing completely, pulling it very gently and going under the liner from the inside edge up, then working your way to the outside edge and curling down. It was a lot easier and it still fits well. I did all 4 on the F150 in 20 minutes.

I fitted these to my f150 raptor so my 2 year old could climb into his seat without slipping. I can say that it sticks well to heat, which can be a problem with some glues (sometimes the ambient temperature reaches 130 degrees). Can't comment on how well it performs in the cold, although the manual does mention that cold weather installation will be an issue. The griptape is tough and feels like it will last the lifetime of the car.

They are a perfect match for my 2014 F-150 FX4. The texture almost matches the dash and the extra black on the truck looks nice. The adhesion promoter sponge was dry when I put 2 of the 4 caps on, but doing this in 90 degree Florida weather with a fully alcohol cleaned surface ensured they didn't move.
