Welded to a dump truck as a replacement due to employee abuse. We've been using it for about 4 months now and it works great. I would buy them again.

This is a very strong 5/16 inch thick steel. But they have thin plastic bushings that take up some of the play in the hinge. Not sure how long this part will take, might get a bit sloppy at the end. Attempts to undercut the price.

Hinges are sturdy and as advertised. But it would be nice to get all four! I only get three. The packaging wasn't strong enough for such heavy hinges. I could see the package had been torn open and UPS had put some of their tape on it. I think one of the loops fell out somewhere. I wrote to the seller, no reply. Use the best shipping packaging!

I bought some of these hinges to modify a landscape trailer. The hinges arrived quickly but when they arrived I was quite disappointed. They're heavy gauge steel, but other than that they're junk. They came with fat but they were all mutilated as you can see in the picture. All 4 were mutilated. Even if mirrors were good it wouldn't be better to use them as there is no bearing and nothing to hold the lube in the hinge as the hinge is made of a metal band bent to wrap around the bolt winds, and…

The mirror fitting seems to be an odd size. None of my grease guns will fit, the heads are too small and the grease only splatters on the outside of the spigot. The threads are smaller so it is not possible to install a Zerk fitting from your local auto parts store unless you wish to drill a loop and cut a tap for a larger Zerk fitting. One of the threaded holes was factory cut to allow the transom mount to pop out on its own. I removed the bolts and just hand lubricated. I think that's how…
