Works great: shocks, struts and suspension

A bit pricey for rubber cheers but after the first pack I knew I would buy more. They fit great and work great. As mentioned, I tuck the small end inside so it fills the hole that the shackles go through.

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Vanish

No more noisy shackles!

No more noisy shackles. These D-ring insulators are very thick and much better than the thin rubber washers that usually come with clamps. They solved the problem of too much clearance on the clevis pins, provided a snug fit, and were easy to install.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model

Tight fit. no more noise.

Very durable rubber. a little thicker than I expected, had to use some lube to hold everything together and be able to line up the holes without "squeezing" the rubber too much in any area. But they fit well and eliminate tacking noise. Period!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • So-so

Perfect fit for Subaru OEM tow hooks.

So I used these with an OEM tow hook on a 2021 Subaru Crosstrek Sport. They allowed the temple to remain perfectly centered. I also had to use Steinjager insulators to completely fill in the gaps. They're expensive for what they are, but they're the perfect fix with my factory tow hooks.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Better than Daystar

I tried Daystar products but they made noise, I even used e-tape and tubing to make my own but that wasn't perfect either so I decided to try these , and boy was I impressed. I have JCR bumpers on my Jeep and only had to use 1 isolator per D ring. Now they are tight (I crank mine) and don't rattle or make any noise!

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • The cable is shorter than others

Great insulators! Keep these shackles in place and protect your bumper!

Ideal for standard staples (3/4" with 7/8" shank). I just finished my bumper welding project and wanted to protect my project (and paint) from shackles slapping in the woods/mountains or everyday potholes. I've never seen anything like this, most of them are just flat rubber washers, they are cone shaped and really compress to fit the space they fill between the strut eyelet and the bumper eyelet. They fit perfectly and the temple can be rotated, but that requires a little effort. No more…

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Fits

Great solution for my application variables.

I had to check this to help others. People are downgrading their rating because they had to cut them etc. I suspect the problem is more with non-standard struts or the uneven thickness of the anchor strut (which goes through the bumper). In my case, I'm using a 3/4" Crosby mount that goes through a 0.5" mount/anchor with a hole about 7/8". In this case, these things are wonderful. Sure, a tapered rubber washer at just over $2 a piece might seem expensive, but you make them cheaper and send them

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • old
