This works much better than the felt versions. I bought 12 socks to be able to change them every other day or so. I just turn them over and throw them in the laundry. this is for my red sea reefer 450

This product has been modified. It no longer fits my Red Sea Aquarium filter system. I have to sand down the plastic ring quite a bit. These are not growths in the pool, everything is clean. I ship them out monthly and this batch was made from a very thick fabric that cannot be washed. I hope it was an accident and I get the same nets as before.
