Description of ๐Ÿšด REDSHIFT Kitchen Sink Aluminum Drop Bar Handlebar for Road Bikes and Gravel Bicycles - 31.8mm Clamp, 20mm Rise

ULTIMATE GRAVEL HANDLEBAR โ€“ The REDSHIFT Kitchen Sink Bike Handlebar is the ultimate gravel bar. The rise, sweep, flare, and compact drop combine to create a super comfortable bar that also enables you to get aero and maximize performance. WIDE & ERGONOMIC โ€“ Sizes ranging from 44-50cm wide allow for a broad range of fit. The 20mm of RISE and 7ยฐ of SWEEP on these wide handlebars relieves pressure on the wrists and hands and puts this bicycle drop bar where your hands naturally want to be - increasing comfort and reducing fatigue. TRULY COMFORTABLE DROP POSITION โ€“ 25ยฐ of Flare combined with a shallow ergonomically shaped drop on this handlebar gives you a stable, comfortable, and aerodynamic position when riding in the drops. No matter what the terrain is, this bicycle handlebar for road bikes provides superior stability, control, and comfort in the drops. COMPATIBILITY โ€“ This aluminum handlebar is compatible with standard stems that have a 31.8mm handlebar clamp diameter. The optional endurance loop adds an alternative aerodynamic riding position and is a perfect spot for mounting accessories. TAKE IT TO THE NEXT LEVEL โ€“ Pair this drop bar handlebar with the REDSHIFT Cruise Control Grip System and Really Long Bar Tape (sold separately), to upgrade this (or any drop bar) to the next level of comfort.

For the bike I mount these bars on, I can say when I hold them in my hands that they will be perfect! Kona Ultd, Adv snowmobiles with 29 x 2.5" Teravail Ehline, SON hub dynamo and Vario seatpost

Kitchen sink for a good reason

Basically, the pictures tell you everything you need to know about this bar. The only thing I would wish for would be a weight reduction of maybe 50-80 grams, but still a great bar. I drove across the country from San Francisco to New York in July 2021.

Pros
  • Sport and Outdoor
Cons
  • Nothing

A few comfortable hand positions and feels very secure and stable in the drop position. You lose a bit of aerodynamics compared to the traditional drop position, but the comfort and stability it offers in this position is worth it. The center aero grip is also amazingly comfortable when gripping the aero pad. The best road or gravel handlebar on the market.

Ideal handlebar for touring and commuting.

I combined it with the ergonomic Redshift Drop and Cruise Control and I have the most comfortable handlebars I have ever had. The flared drops allow me to bend further without my arms being at an odd angle and keep my brifters at a good angle. And of course, the large D-bracket on the front allows for many things to be attached. Accessories for the ends of the rods fit perfectly. This is just a fantastic drop bar.
