The swing worked great but after less than 2 weeks the strap broke while my kids were swinging. We've never carried more than 150 pounds on a swing so there's no reason it's going to break. Children could be seriously injured, but fortunately they are fine. The swing is still in great condition but I wouldn't use its straps.

My sons love this swing! My husband and I even swing (separately) sometimes. It looks like a small hammock. The bars were a little tricky to swing, but I put it all together in 10 minutes. I didn't have much trouble hanging it from a tree because we had the rope already installed. A few months after receipt, the threads begin to creep out, but so far this does not damage the integrity of the swing itself. Dries very quickly after rain.

We bought this for my son for his birthday (4 years old). He was so excited and the best part was he could play on it with his beer and his sisters. The product said it could carry up to 500lbs but we have set a limit of no more than 4 children at a time. All of our children weigh 60 pounds or less, with some as low as 24 pounds. Do not buy this swing! Terrible quality and zero customer service. I bought this swing in May 2020 and installed it in July. In early January, I noticed that one of the main straps had snapped and about 50% of it had failed. I contacted the company and received no response. It is said to weigh over 100 pounds. My son is less than 90 pounds so there is no chance of the swing being overloaded. Replacing the belt would be such an easy fix for swings that cost so much. Like I said, customer service

Don't be an idiot like me and don't read the instructions to the end. First I did some things that didn't need to be done yet and needed to be undone. In general it's great. The strap on the boom is probably some type of material, like a seat belt. I hope it doesn't wear out from friction during use, but if it does we can use another one. We couldn't take it off, if ever. My husband, who is 185 pounds, sat in it and held it tight, but I don't think I attached it to a branch thick enough to use…
