Optimized Reef Octopus 152-S Protein Skimmer Review

Awesome Skimmer! This was my first skimmer purchase, after reading a lot of reviews and research I thought this was the best skimmer for my application. After a break of about two weeks, the skimmer begins to pull out a large amount of waste. Very happy with my performance!

Seems to be working fine for now Y directions are so bad they seem to think everyone has had them for years and they don't need to know anything about setup and breakage. /general problems. For the money I expected better. Otherwise it seems to be working fine, the first one, so who knows.

I have a 75G tank. After purchasing this product, we will pick it up. Then I put it in my 30 gram swamp and it started to work. After 2 days I saw a dark green Skimate that had been removed from my tank. I am very satisfied with this product so far. I would recommend this product to a friend.

I really like this skimmer. The dirt started coming out on the first day. Maybe my tank was really bad, but I didn't have any break-in time at all. My problem with this is that there are no real instructions. It includes basic assembly instructions but nothing on operation or setup. It took You Tube to find out. Bought this skimmer to replace the Aquamaxx FC-180 which stopped foaming and would not adjust properly. I run this on an 85 gallon tank with a 20 gallon trigger sump and it fits easily. This is my favorite skimmer and I've had several (mostly reef octopus). installed in minutes. It took me about 5 minutes to assemble and install it on my system after a quick flush. My original skimmer stopped working properly, I left town the next day so I wasn't sure how the break-in would go.
