Works great in a Class V receiver For those who removed a Class IV hitch and forgot the adapter only to lose the adapter from the hitch, this is the cure.

The hole is slightly reamed and does not match the receiver. You have to drill it out for it to work properly. The other couplers I have are fine, so I know it's a coupler and not a receiver.

Very strong paint, good application and adhesion. Very durable, I feel more confident with this beast dragging my 24ft. No banging or wobbling with this hitch!

I have used a 2 1/2" adapter but the estimated weight of the 2" stem ball and ball is not enough for heavy loads. This solves the problem.and great free shipping.You can't find this in our local Walmart stores.

Got this for my 18 Duramax so I can drop the hub on my old 2" ball rig. My old rig was rated for 6 klb and now everything is rated for 10,000 too so you can have peace of mind. I'm having some trouble with this ball joint. As with the other reviewer, the ball hole wasn't really "round". Rather, it had a slightly oval shape. The second issue is the pin hole which I couldn't get through the receiver/ball joint. It didn't fit the receiver on my 2015 Ford F250.
