Excellent Towing Hoist for Automotive Use

This hoist is perfect for any automotive enthusiast. It is heavy duty, easily lifts any weight, and is perfect for towing. The solid construction ensures safety and offers peace of mind while towing. My only con is that it is a bit on the pricey side. Nevertheless, you get what you pay for with this quality product. Overall, I highly recommend this hoist to anyone looking for a reliable, sturdy, and durable solution for their towing needs.

Pros
  • Strong and durable construction for heavy-duty lifting
Cons
  • Requires manual operation which can be time-consuming and exhausting

Hm. not what I expected

not what I expected from the Reece brand (if applicable). It looks too cheap, the chainring doesn't hook at the optimal angle, and it also makes more noise than others I've used before. Spend a few bucks more, it might be safe, but I honestly don't get a good vibe out of it.

Pros
  • accessibility
Cons
  • functionality

Hazardous Equipment

The load chain came off the drive sprocket and brake and a 750 lb block of limestone fell on my foot which I would have lost some of had the 1 x 4 not stopped the block. In forty years of working with chain hoists, I never thought this could happen. Such equipment failure could easily kill someone.

Pros
  • Quality Construction
Cons
  • Socket Required
