🚚 LED Trailer Light Kit by Reese Towpower 86006 Review

This kit is a replacement for a cheaper Reese lighting kit. MUCH better quality. The cheaper kit barely had the wires connected to the light and the back had to be patched to ensure a better seal. The LED kit was hardwired, no complicated connections. LIGHT is very bright. Highly recommended.

Good replacement kit, I had problems with original bulbs. Then there were problems with the driver's side parking lights staying on even when the truck was off. It turned out that the indicator relay behind the main fuse was defective. It is better than the original light, thanks

The brightness of these LEDs is amazing! They also look great in combination with a lamp. Two white LEDs illuminate the license plate. As an experienced technician, I notice from the handling that they are fragile. Very light plastic compared to other lighting kits I have installed. Although it seems like a decent product for the price. I opted for standard 3-5 day shipping and it took 4 business days to receive it.

I had to install them on my trailer after my old bulbs started to rust. First, the installation process is very simple. The instructions that came with it were great and very helpful. This kit only has rear brakes but I found cheap amber warning lights from the link below and just tied them to the wiring harness. They were very bright and perfect for my needs. Until last weekend I was quite happy with these trailer lights. I was driving the interstate and noticed that both lightbulbs were just hanging by wires!
