Cracked container, uneven texture

Crack at the bottom of the container. Part of the product was wet, part completely dry, which had nothing to do with a crack in the container. Easy to use but must be removed immediately after use.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Low repairability

Good thermal insulation for welding and soldering

The thermal block was obvious but it burned a little after I used 450C and when I used the flux it got dirty and not reusable. It's important to have these things to protect other components. Thanks very much!

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Ugly packaging

A normal towel soaked in water works best.

Substance does not stick. It is almost impossible to process a copper tube. I was expecting the consistency to be more like clay/putty. It's more of a spongy material. It appears to hold heat but cannot be reused as advertised.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Defective

A wet rag is a miracle!

Great stuff! Use in combination with a heat shield. The ceiling is difficult to use in tight spaces with lots of AC lights in the way as it is not rigid and cannot be shaped. Multiple sheets of steel sewn together with this material are much easier to handle.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Doubtful

The seller did a good job. Product not very good

This is a review of a product, not a seller. The seller did a good job. The product is not very good. You can't see how well in touch he is with what you're trying to keep your cool. Clear cooling gel is much better for this. It's not as good as wet rags. They don't tend to move and shrink like this thing does. It's also pretty messy. I got it because I wanted to try it, but I'll stick with cooling gel and/or a wet rag.

Pros
  • Blocks direct and conductive heat transfer
Cons
  • So far so good
