So I'll warn you in advance I'm not using this as intended. I have 3 of these lying on top of a piece of plywood holding a 400lb slipper clutch. They are attached with screws and nylon washers. I use them to slightly raise the plywood base, to move it on and off the rolling dolly, and to move the base on the bed of a truck or on a dolly. This is for moving the hitch in and out of the back of my truck. These grips are pretty sturdy though, and it's nice that they have springs that keep them flat

The dimensions given are not accurate in any meaningful way: 4.88" is (approximately) the width of the handle and 3.2" H is the distance from the top of the rubber to the edge of the mount a horizontal position. There's about 1.5 inches of play in the grip, but it's a bit shy if you plan on threading a 2x4 through.
