This is perfect for my portable BT speaker I made. Only thing is there are no instructions for installation if you want it flat (not recommended) or want it with a slight bow (so easy to work with) and NO SCREWS. Luckily I had stainless steel screws that fitted perfectly. The project was great.

Decent construction but although the strap length is the same as real pens they have thinner straps and significantly smaller sizes at the ends of the fittings. I also had to drill out to 1/4 inch. The photos appear to be proportionally correct, but it's actually not what you think. Good for lighter stuff - it's my app so I kept it, but if you're carrying an amp or acoustic cab I'd skip it.

Replacement Case Handle. The original has a similar structure, but the quality is significantly worse than this one. It doesn't come with screws or rivets, I used a couple of nuts, bolts and washers I had on hand and installed it in minutes. Inside the rubber exterior is a heat treated steel strip that stands up well and lasts a long time. It is designed as a direct replacement for your suitcase handle, fits and works perfectly. You get two pens as a bonus, so I have a spare for the future.

Rubber coated steel handles. The holes in the handles are slotted so the handles spring back when not in use but pop out when needed. This is a good design feature and not a disadvantage as mentioned in other reviews. There are no instructions explaining this or how to place the end brackets for this feature to work. Screws or bolts are not included. Some black 1.25" bolts with properly machined heads, nuts and washers would be very welcome. It would be nice to specify which screws fit. -1 star
