This is very handy when you want to improve the accuracy of your 3D printer or CNC. Stepping requires more steps per mm on the Z axis, but the quality is amazing. These improved the TR8x8 lead screws on an i3 printer. Both lead screws I received are straight and well made. The nut also has very little play, definitely less than my old bolts, although it's not a big deal for the 3D printer's Z-axis. Keep in mind that you may need to adjust more than just the number of steps per unit when upgrading from a TR8x8. .
