Love the design, stainless steel bowl, ease of use and legibility. BUT the accuracy of the calibration weights varied by +/- 3g on each test. We bought hoping to use it to sell products in the market, but for that purpose it's not accurate. For example, it would be good to measure ingredients while cooking.

I've read reviews of scale sites and think I got a good one. The stainless steel bowl is deep and roomy, and I don't just use it for weighing (perfect for tossing salad). A simple conversion is as easy as going from pounds to ounces to grams to ml. Easy to read digital screen, looks great on my counter and is lightweight. The only thing I wish he had stayed. It turns off when not actively in use, not a big deal but something to be aware of. Otherwise perfect!

The only thing I don't like is that it is difficult to read from an angle. However, I'm ahead of him most of the time, so don't give him a star. It has multiple settings for different units of measurement. This makes it easy to track calories. I would say the bowl is handy but not necessary. I only see it as a bonus. I'm a science geek, so measuring things becomes an activity for me. It works great and I didn't encounter any problems worthy of serious criticism.

I like the look and ease of use of this scale, but it's not what I would choose for accuracy. I try to measure by weight rather than volume when cooking. This scale likes to gradually jump as ingredients are added. For example, it will weigh 95 grams. Add some more, some more and boom. 110 grams. Nothing in between. It also changes when the container is in different parts of the scale. If you use a different bowl than the one that came with the kit, I've noticed changes of up to 10 grams…

I use this to measure salt, magnesium and liquid chemicals. I highly recommend this scale and am a bit shocked at the low price considering how well made it is and how well it works. You start with the bowl on the scale, turn it on and it resets to zero so the bowl isn't included in the weight. They can weigh in pounds or grams and it's very delicate. Since you can put everything on it and switch it on with zero, I also use my Erlenmeyer flask instead of a beaker to measure liquids. The scale…
