So Far So Good in my review

I just installed these batteries in my system and so far they have passed every test with flying colors. Be forewarned, these batteries are heavy, 131 lbs. each. I lugged four of them up a flight of stairs by myself and I got a good physical workout.

Not returnable! for my opinion

Beware when you buy, this is not returnable, period! I was shopping and comparing with LiFePo and accidentally bought this one. Can't return it, so I guess we'll switch to lithium in a few years when this gives out.

Dead On Arrival (DOA)

I ordered the Renogy Deep Cycle AGM Battery 12 Volt 100Ah online and received it 5 days later. The box it arrived in was undamaged. I opened the box, installed the bolts provided into the positive and negative openings and measured the voltage which gave a reading of 8.0v. Not good. I reset my voltmeter, retested and got the same result. VERY dissappointed. I've opened a trouble ticket with Renogy which generated a Case # and message stating that I should receive a response within 24 hours.

  • Not as environmentally friendly as other battery options

This was sent thru the mail and arrived in perfect shape. So far I have a solar panel used to charge this battery on my boat and the battery performs as expected.

Holds charge good for me

Very good battery. I added this to two more Renogy batteries after buying a new camper that had more components that require more amp hours to run.

Great Battery ! in my review

I got this battery a couple of years ago as I was tiered of the standard RV batteries dying so quickly. This battery is great. I have yet to take it below 30% power, despite camping for over 7 days at a stretch. I do use Renogy fold out solar panels with it as well. Using them in tandem, I could stay off the grid as long as I want.
