Great system, order y adapter seperate!

This is a great product, I installed it on my boat that is anchored off shore, connected to 4 marine batteries, I connected a 3000 watt inverter right to my shore power plug and now everything works on my boat, including my refrigerator, hot water and all my ac plugs. I was disappointed that the kit doesn’t come with the needed Y adapter that connects the second panel. I had to order that after the fact, but it’s only $10 a

Pros
  • Easy and efficient installation, saves time and cost of hiring professionals
Cons
  • Can be difficult to transport or store

Working well on my review.

These are working quite well, keeping my small travel trailer powered for lights, water pump and heater. The concept of installing them is easy but it may take some effort to run the wires properly. I strongly suggest acquiring a good cable cutter and wire stripper for the install. I purchased the panels with Renogy's MPPT controller and lithium battery. I haven't yet put this system to a hard test but it is doing very nicely under a light load.

Pros
  • This kit includes our 20A MPPT charge controller which uses Maximum Power Point Tracking technology, transferring power up to 30% more efficiently than PWM charge controllers
Cons
  • Solar panels can be a target for theft

I love this equipment. However I thought I was getting a single 200w panel, and received 2x100w panels instead. I have the space for now but was planning for an eventual expansion to 600w with 3 panels. I don't have space on my toy Hauler for 6 panels. Headed for Pine Island and hurricane cleanup. Tight schedule and no time to deal with a return/replacement.

Pros
  • keeps 5 batteries charged all the time, put on small utility trailer for camping.
Cons
  • Installation process can be difficult and time-consuming

Not truly made for Lifepo4 Setup

This not a review for the PV panels , this is a review for the Renogy Rover LI , it’s a terrible mppt for Li batteries . The factory parameters for Li may work for some batteries but not mine and likely not a ton of others . Now you can go into user setting and change parameters but hardly any , you cannot shut off equalize or float which is funny because it’s shut off in the factory LI settings ? I could go on for an hour about what’s wrong with the charging side of the CC . If using a LI…

Pros
  • Durable and long-lasting, ensuring a lifetime of reliable and efficient energy production
Cons
  • May not be allowed in certain areas

Just what I needed.

I bought this to keep our 12VDC fridge running in the camper while boondocking. It does the job great. I run it with an 81Ah deep cycle Interstate battery. We were camping when I hooked it up for the first time. My controller was showing 11.7 volts right before I plugged in the panels. Within an hour I was up to 12.7 volts. With full sun it had no problems keeping the fridge running and we used the lights and Fantastic Fan as needed. The next day, I was curious as to how much it would keep up…

This is a great solar starter kit

Using this for my camp trailer setup on my property in the summer months. I use this to keep my batteries charged during the day and when im not there. It powers my hughesnet dish, router, phone and other needs flawlessly. I'm using it in conjunction with a 2000 watt power inverter, though i don't run the inverter anywhere near peak. This is an absolutely fantastic starter kit. I couldn't be happier with its performance and price.

Pros
  • Provides a steady and stable power supply, ensuring uninterrupted power in all weather conditions
Cons
  • Performance can vary based on location and placement

missing the "pair of branch connectors"went on website and they are sold out.cannot connect the two solar panels without them. guess Ill have to wait

Pros
  • Comes with a comprehensive user manual and tech support, ensuring smooth operation and assistance with any issues
Cons

Series only (OOB) but works great.

It's all there. I've had good experiences with the Rover so I decided on this kit for a relative's RV. For smaller wattage installs I like to use parallel so the entire array doesn't suffer from a single shadow, but the box only includes wiring for a serial install. No big deal, I can pick up some parallel Y connectors.

Pros
  • Order will be delivered in multiple packages
Cons
  • Can take up valuable roof or ground space

Update: After 3 years

We've used these three summers now and they continue to work perfect for us. Even on our last trip to Wyoming, our battery started dying. As long as the sun was up, we had enough power to run everything in our small camper, whether it was cloudy or sunny. Once again, note that they don't work very well in the shade. I have them wired in series. That may be part of that issue? I'm certainly no expert.I lowered my rating from a 5 to a 4, not because the panels or controller are worse, but one of…

Pros
  • Low maintenance, with no moving parts or required fuel to power
Cons
  • May not suit all personal preferences or energy needs

Bad Battery best in my review

The battery stays at 12.4v-12.6 never reaches 13v with the 3% discharge rate. My discharge rate is around 6-9%. This purchase on amazon is a scam when you read that you can return your purchase by Jan 31 2023. Unacceptable customer service with unhelpful hands around every 45 minute phone call. Stay away from this battery and from buying on Ebay Third PARTIES! !

Pros
  • Generators & Portable Power
Cons
  • Limited warranty
