is really very light, for such a short stem if the 2 side screws can alternate (one left the other right) like some others it will be better. I used a thick rental bar with this stem so they fit better than the others. The 30mm rod has an even better cut. It scared me at first, but I understood. I bought this stem together with Renthals carbon handlebars. I was bothered by the way the bars attach to the stem. You must install the clamps on the bars before you can screw them onto the stem. This is normal, what bothered me was the marks on my new bars from trying to install the clamps as they were very tight.
