First I got it, I thought it was stupid. Don't look hard. My colleague told me to try cutting the cable. It was twisted pair cable. I think there were 5 conductors. He cut right through. The blade of the hook is designed for the rope. I bought a second one to use a different blade for normal knife needs. If you need a wire cutter, get one. It makes quick work of that pesky self-adhesive tape.

I really like this Klein Tools knife. This is currently one of my favorite knives. I've been wearing it for a few weeks and really enjoyed having it with me. It's a bit heavy, but I didn't notice it when it was in my pocket. The only reason I give it 4 stars is that the set screw that holds the spare blade loosens very easily and the blade comes loose. Nevertheless, I can recommend this knife to everyone.

Overall this knife was disappointing. This is the first Klein tool I have purchased that has had fit and finish issues. The figure is sloppy, the centering of the blade has gone astray. The knife shaft is unpolished and shot-blasted. Makes for a very gritty action. Also, the knife is too thick. The enormous distance between the blades allowed the thickness to be reduced by 3/8 inch. This knife is very good. I use it for work on our utility lines that are both above ground and below ground. Just take the sheath off the braided line and trim the sheath very well Clean the distribution lines for each size we have. This knife works like a charm and I had no trouble cutting it and the blade is holding up well. My only criticism of this knife is the set screw for the spare blade.
