These handles are not made by Revere but are nearly identical to those originally supplied. The surface is smooth and glossy with no mold lines. On our lids, the threaded brass insert was recessed too far to fully align with the short spigot on the lid. A few minutes on my husband's lathe to cut .080 off the outer Bakelite portion of the grip allowed it to screw it in perfectly and still give enough grip to remove the cap without burning my fingers. Delighted! We've had the Revere Ware set for 31 years now, and almost half of that time we've lived without a handle on my 3QT pot and using a fork to pry the screw top lid off. no more this problem! The replacement handle came very quickly, perfect for my copper bottomed pots. The brass internal threads are well tightened and without a new shine you can't see any difference to the outside. This is the perfect replacement for my RevereWare 2-qt without handles. pot lid. Until I found this replacement handle, I figured I would have to throw away the broken lid and buy a new or new pot. When my order arrived I simply screwed the new handle into the lid and the pot lid was like new. I've found that the new handle isn't as heavy as the old one - maybe cheaper materials are used in the manufacture of replacement parts, but at least my old RevereWare cookware will last a few more years…

I bought this and a set of Dutch Oven handles to restore my mother's old Dutch Oven. We weren't sure if Revere was hers or not, but it looked pretty close, so I took a chance. The Revere's side handles fit well, but this lid handle doesn't. The bolt on the lid of her slow cooker appears to be 3/16 inch, not 8-32.
