I lost my original remote for my Scepter TV and was tired of getting up to operate the buttons on the TV. I was so excited to receive the remote which is a replica of the ones I thankfully lost

Works as advertised - just a little homework is needed to ensure you get the right remote to work with your TV is compatible. You only need two AAA batteries, once you put them in, all you have to do is turn on the TV. A pairing is not required. I'm deducting a star because it's pretty weak. I broke my last one because it fell off the couch onto the floor, jumped and stopped working. Luckily it's very cheap.

PERFECT! I think I may have dropped it too many times so I ordered this replacement and I know it's about the remote and not the TV but the TV is great. I don't know why so many people are saying the speakers are awful, they basically sound like my Vizio it can definitely use a soundbar but these TVs come straight out of the box and I just put the batteries in the remote and it WORKS GREAT! Feel free to buy or even have one as a backup.

Our Zepter remote has stopped working right now and our TV doesn't have any input switching buttons, so we can't switch without the remote. They are $20 on the Zepter website but this one is half the price and arrived so quickly AND best of all it worked as soon as we put the batteries in! It looks the same and we checked the TV's model number against the listing to make sure they match before purchasing. Definitely a good buy if your original remote control is dying.

Bought a new model (left side) to replace an old remote control (same model on the right) that no longer works. Previously I tried resetting the (old) controller and used all the methods outlined in the book to get it working with my TV (model U550CV-UMR8UHTV58FE). This controller model is said to be compatible with the U550CV-UMR models. fresh batteries plugged in expecting the tv to work as advertised. And nothing. The remote control is completely unusable for me.
